Daxue Consulting is a China-based market research and strategy
consulting firm. We leverage a multiple-methodology approach in order to
support clients’ needs, auctioning traditional methodologies as well as
technology-driven tools.
The ideal candidate for this
internship is someone interested in both market research and consulting, and is
motivated by the pursuit of knowledge and desires to understand a broad range
of market and societal topics in China.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist
in creating proposals assigned by project leaders and/or managers
Work
on designing projects like go-to-market strategy, brand audit, consumer
research, supply chain and value chain analysis for both B2B and B2C companies.
Extensive
and comprehensive desk research on market trends, industries, or specific
businesses
Social
listening on key online platforms (e.g. Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Weibo) to
analyze clients’ and leads’ brand image and identify the latest
consumption trends
Review
quantitative and qualitative data to look for trends and other insights
Translation of documents
Required:
English
IELTS 7 or above and native Mandarin
Background
in economics, business, statistics, or other relevant majors (completed or
working toward a bachelor’s degree or above)
Experience
in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
Demonstrate
excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and good time
management skills
Work
well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good
understanding of the Chinese economy
Work
well within a multi-cultural team
Candidates with previous experience in consulting or
market research preferred
