Job Title: Retail Operation Intern
Reports to: Retail Operation Manager
Division: Retail Operation
Location: Shanghai
MAINJOBOBJECTIVE
Retail Operation Intern will act as a focal point in retail store operation, new store opening and communication. This position will partner with cross-function teams in ensuring operational excellence and plays a critical role in efficient communication between head office and retail stores.
ESSENTIALJOBRESPONSIBILITIES
Store Operations:
· Support the implementation of Retail Excellence. Continuously explore new areas of improvement.
· Oversee all kinds of store expenses including store supplies, cleaning, interior maintenance and etc. Strive to control operational cost.
· Manage staff uniform applications and keep track of the budget and inventory.
· Coordinate with CRM team to distribute CRM KPIs and assist regional managers to supervise the CRM performance of the retail stores.
· Work with Logistics & Merchandising team to ensure the execution and completion of retail stock management including goods receiving/return/re-balance, etc.
· Update and maintain the records of retail promotion calendar and consolidate monthly in-store promotion applications.
· Collect training needs, support in training sessions, and consolidate training results and feedback.
· Being self-motivated as a team member and do considerable thinking to better support retail team by improving operation tools accordingly.
Data Analysis:
· Regularly analyze store’s operational performance. Conduct analysis on store KPIs and individual targets’ setting.
· Provide accurate ad-hoc reports. Routine update retail report for management team and stores.
· Optimize existing reporting system through coordinating with other functions.
New Store Opening:
· Set up new store opening work flow.
· Plan specific new store opening schedule on the basis of business development plan in a timely manner.
· Partner with cross-function teams to ensure appropriate assortment of store supplies being delivered on time.
· Closely monitor new store opening status to ensure successful opening.
WORK EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor degree and above, preferred major in marketing, math, statistics
· Exhibit proficiency in computer programs used by the Company including: Word, Excel, PPT
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Hands on experience in operation, merchandising or visual and sales training
· Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask effectively
· Thrive in a fast paced on-time deliverable environment
· Energetic, open, and forthcoming attitude
· Work under pressure
· Entrepreneurial; ability to drive forward with goals independently
· Fluent in Mandarin and English
